Non-Profit Organization
Asian Girls Ignite
Asian Girls Ignite (AGI) is a Colorado-based nonprofit that empowers Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) girls and gender-expansive youth through identity-affirming programs rooted in storytelling, leadership, and community. With a mission to help students celebrate their unique stories and step into their power, I conceptulized the brand photoshoot to visually embody this essence through moments that captured both individuality and collective energy.
We highlighted the spirit of AGI’s programming by staging and capturing candid shots that symbolized finding our voice and stepping into our power. Team members expressed their personalities with props while group moments emphasized joy and community. Behind-the-scenes images of brainstorming and collaboration showcased the mission in motion. The result was a visual library that humanized the brand and celebrated identity in action.
I conceptualized AGI’s Ignite Our Light fundraising campaign for AANHPI Heritage Month. The campaign used the symbolism of light — sparks, glow, and illumination — to frame identity and community as sources of resilience and power. I created a storytelling-first strategy that paired student impact stories with donor calls-to-action, supported by a landing page, media toolkit, videos, social media posts, and email marketing. By rooting the campaign in imagery and language that echoed the essence of AGI’s programming, the initiative deepened engagement while raising vital funds to sustain its mission.
